Blue Beryl (Maxixe)

Deep blue beryl; color fades in daylight. Originally (since 1917) it came only from the Maxixe Mine in Minas Gerais (Brazil). Since the 1970s it has been more widely available, but obviously made more beautiful through irradiation, but the color does not last.
